I'm not sure that the Uptone will adequately power a Benchmark DAC3 (hence the HDPlex).

 :oops: I know this is a non-answer. I can say, tangentially, that the Uptone UltraCap LPS-1.2 is powering my Raspberry Pi Roon endpoint and definitely cleans up the sound.
