What I get is a realistic sonic event in front of me. Not at all like headphones.

Rock Ronny

I've heard that comment, but it's just because the person isn't acclimated yet. Part of the benefit of this kind of setup is reducing close reflections from the side walls and hearing more direct vs reflected sound, so it's closer to headphones in this way but there's still plenty of reflected sound at delays that are not present with headphones, so with some time people will acclimate to the greater proportion of direct sound.

Acclimation is the largest failure of the most widely known preference testing in audio, if you don't account for acclimation, especially for a listener with little experience, they simply prefer what they are used to hearing.

Hello Ronny,

the placement of your OB HPs is very good and I am even surprised that you have a serious enough present, I even allowed myself to capture your video, I tried to make my room (cellar) audible because it is all concrete , the low end of the cabinet is very good, it's a bit like a gas plant installation, but it's very interesting for realism.

Have to say it was fun watching you play my sound sample on your rig. Great stuff.

Yes, my system offer great impact, punch, and presence even though the speakers are that far into the room. Having independent amps on the 12" servo woofer and mid woofer is what makes it happen. If I need more, I just turn up the volume. The downside is that if I change the volume on the main amp, I have two other amps to adjust to match. So I leave all amps the same and adjust volume from the computer.

Bonjour Ronny,

Hello Ronny,

yes, your system is pleasant to listen to, i came back to my first love, all baffle plan !! : D

It's less aggressive than my big horn compression and my Oberton 15B500, I put my 18 "coupe at 350 Hz with a faitalpro 10fe200 (8) and a compression engine with small horn cut at 6 Khz. It's more homogeneous and pleasant to listen to, I would do a short video again: D, glad to know that this has you more.

Bonjour,

Hello,

so I changed the configuration a bit, I made a new capture with the organ played by Marie-Claire ALAIN.
