Yes, we will be displaying at RMAF again this year as usual.

We will be sharing a big room again with Salksound, using their really nice speakers.  We will be on the 11th floor of the tower, same room as last year.

I will personally not be there this year as I am recovering from very recent left knee joint replacement.  The surgery and recovery is going fine except for the PT people that come in three times a week and torture me a lot.  I am just not quite up to a long weekend on my feet and trying to pretend to be competent and knowledgeable for hours at a time.

We will be represented by three great AVA associates:  Dean Barnell, Larry Jenkins, and Dan Kuechle.  We will be playing the new Fet Valve hybrid amp, new Fet Valve preamp, and Fet Valve DAC, along with the Synergy 450 and Synergy Control Amplifier, both new solid state designs.

Dan will have his new ABX switchbox in use to make it easier to change speakers or electronics to what you want to hear with a push of the remote control button.

My guys are looking forward to seeing all you friends again here at RMAF this year.

Meanwhile I will be staying home trying to help catch up on the HUGE backlog or orders generated by our sale that just ended September 30.

As a bonus for show goers, we plan on extending the sale to orders taken at the show, so you get one last chance to save 15%.

Do note that the overwhelming success of the sale means our lead times are out eight weeks right now.  Please be patient and you will eventually receive the great new AVA electronics you ordered.  Remember, we don't charge out your credit card until we are actually ready to ship.

Best regards,

Frank Van Alstine

All my guys will be there sometime Thursday, early enough in the afternoon to help with setup.

Larry is flying in, Dean is driving and bringing the equipment, and Dan is driving to, making a vacation trip out of it.

Have a speedy recovery Frank, the trick is to force yourself to move around a lot, walk a lot.

Good luck with your recovery Frank! You've got a lot of celebrating to do.

A friend of the family got that procedure done on both knees, but on one of them... the docs had put in the wrong piece. He suffered for a month or so until somebody paid enough attention to figure out what had gone wrong--a third surgery later, he was good to go more or less right away.

I do find a lot more doctors/nurses that are incompetent these days, just hope that we are healthy and will never need them. They claim the medical staff are overworked.

Yup, Doctors and nurses are just like lawyers, we hate 'em 'til we need 'em.

Frank, you will be missed. I enjoy talking with you in person at RMAF. I'm glad the guys will take the torch and bring the AVA sound to Denver. Your room is always on my list and never disappoints.

Here's to you getting back on your feet ASAP!  :thumb:

We will have a full assortment of the latest AVA equipment at RMAF room 1107.

Fet Valve 600R and 400R hybrid power amplifiers.

Fet Valve and Transcendence 8+ preamps.

Synergy 450 power amplifier

Synergy Control Amplifier.

Fet Valve hybrid DAC

We even broke down and had a couple of attractive large banner displays made just so you will notice that the room has more than just the excellent Salk Sound equipment.  :)

Meet Dean Barnell, Larry Jenkins, and Dan Kuechle there and bug them with any questions you have.

My new left knee is doing really well, but not quite up to standing around for three solid days at the show.  I will be back in person next year.

Best regards,

Frank Van Alstine
