=====================================================================

UPDATE:  The pair of 6189s are sold.  The 6 6680s including the sleeve are SOLD.  New price is $95 shipped to CONUS.

=====================================================================

Here are 8 NOS/NIB RFT Germany 12AU7 tubes re-labeled for AMC.

This is my favorite affordable 12AU7 and I accumulated enough of them to last several lifetimes.
Time to share a few.

RFT made these in West Germany in the 60s and 70s and re-labeled them for many different brands. Some actually say RFT, but I mostly see National and AMC logos. I even have 4 with GE USA labels. The logos typically list the country of brand painted on them, but they were all made in West Germany.

They have a distinctive design with short plates, an uncommon support shape, and small halo getters.
Sound is clear and detailed, without any trace of harshness.

All 8 tubes are new-in-box and test as-new.
The 6 6680s have red logos and the 2 6189s have white logos.
Tubes are identical in spite of different numbers printed on them.
The sleeve is a little rough, but something you don't see very often.

I would prefer to sell all 8 of these as a group, but I will consider splitting into 6 6680s and 2 6189s.
I will not split up the sleeve.

These typically retail for $25 to $30 each and have multiple favorable reviews online.
My price is $125 for all 8 tubes and the sleeve.

I will cover PayPal fee and buyer pays for actual shipping cost by method of their choice.
Limited to USA at this time.

I have hundreds of 12AU7, 12AT7, 12AX7, and 6DJ8 tubes that I will be selling over time, so feel free to contact me and let me know what you are looking for.

Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.

Stay safe & best regards.

BionicEar,

I'm interested in your RFT 12AU7's.  Informative post with good photos.  Do you happen to have additional details, like dates?  Looks like the two 6189's you sold had been tested and if the numbers on the box ends are any indication, were pretty well matched.

Thanks,

RW

RFT didn't print date codes on their tubes.  My best guess is 1960s.

Yes, they are very tightly matched.  I can provide specific test results if you are interested, but they test as-new.

Send me a PM or email me at bradybroussard@bellsouth.net if you would like to proceed.

I love these.  I simply don't need 50+ of them.  :lol:
