Hi
Hoping I haven't missed the retiring of this model. Not ready to order, but looking for something with narrower footprint than the 12".

Cheers

Oh, found them in the Archived model, but there is a faint glimmer in red.
"These are temporarily out of stock."

Fingers crossed.

Cheers

How are you wanting to use them? Thr reason I ask is a cabinet with 8s is only 4 inches narrower than one for 12s and for output all the way down to the mid teens, two 12s out perform three 8s by quite a bit.

Hello Grant,

My 12 inch sealed servo on the side of the cabinet works great.

Hi
Well I am moving to an apartment and so need to retire the Acoustat 2+2's and thinking I might be able to sneak 1+1's past the wife. A similarly skinny OB sub might also pass muster to recover and potentially improve on the 2+2's bass performance. The 12" OB's are probably too wide. These are only ideas at the moment so happy to take suggestions. I am even thinking a ripole arrangement might be worth investigating.
Cheers

The 8s would work fine as long as you are OK with solid performance down to 30Hz. The 8s play lower than 30Hz, it's just that the output is lacking compared to the 12s. For an apartment the 8s would be fine. Of course, right now it's moot since the OB 8s are out of stock.
