what happened-1 speaker louder now

turn on the system today and the right side was louder than the left-swap speakers and the same one stays louder,so i swap tweeters-no change,swap dome mids -no change,swap 6.5" drivers still no change.

what happened -anyone have some clues?

just my luck,system was sounding great

When you swapped speakers, did the same speaker stay louder? or the same side (right) stay louder?

Since swapping drivers didn't help, it seems to point toward a crossover issue. Can you take a peek and see if any of the crossover components are obviously damaged (like a leaking capacitor)?

already took a look -didnt see a thing

the louder speaker blew the tweeter last week.

i just reversed the phase of the tweeter in the louder speaker-it works

Reminds me of the time i had to subs in my old HT. When sitting in the middle i got absolut zero bass. Not even pressing the stupid "phase change" button helped. Then i took matters in my own hands and switched the polarity and fixed it. I guees the waves hit each other and cancel each other out, at least thats what i think happend in my old HT.
