I purchased 20 meters of Duelund 12 awg (DCA12GA) Tin Plate Copper Hookup Wire on the 2nd of March from Parts Connection to try out. I paid $381.95 for it, including shipping.

There has been a buzz about this wire and its 16 AWG cousin. I've had a listen and neither my old ears nor less than optimal room acoustics enable me to defend keeping it. That's the honest answer as to why I'm selling it in as new condition at a $5/meter discount. I'm not an audiophile that can give you subtle and thick descriptions of the wires plus and minuses, so don't even ask

There are many, many good reports on this imitation of the Western Electric vintage tinned copper wire developed but Duelund. Now is your chance to try it at a nice discount with free shipping. Please pay close attention to the description that follows, since this wire doesn't come in typical positive/negative pairs.

This wire came in a single piece 20 meters long.  I cut it into a stereo set of the following lengths (they shorted me slightly and I will remeasure before I charge you by the meter):

1.  Two pieces of 6 meters = about 20 ft. for my right speaker
2.  Two pieces of 3.8 meters = about 12.5 ft. for my left speaker

I paid 17.95/meter plus $23 in shipping from Canada.  I'm asking $13/meter and will cover PayPal and US priority or equivalent to CONUS. That means:

1. $156 for the long two pieces
2. $98.80 for the short two pieces

Will sell together or separately.  Keep in mind you'll need to cut 1) or 2) in half to get four pieces (a complete stereo set)!  I imagine that will work for many systems that have their components placed between the speakers. Mine are off to the side which is why I crafted an uneven set.  Thanks for reading.
