The Acoustic Zen Absolute is their top of line true 75 ohm RCA terminated digital interconnect, using zero crystal copper ribbon conductors, spiral wound, suspended in a carefully designed Teflon tube, thus using an air dielectric. It uses excellent locking RCA plugs.
I've used a number of high quality digital ICs in the $500 to $1000 range, and this is comfortably the best of breed, being smooth, liquid, and presenting a wide, deep, believable soundstage with wonderful spatial definition. A great choice for any full range, high resolution system. I've recommended them to several people who always come back with raves about them.
I've used 3 of these in my best systems for a couple of years, but a configuration change makes this one surplus.
Lots of reviews and comments online about the AZ Absolute Series cables, and they deliver superb sound by any standard.
It is as new. I purchase it new, installed it once and have not touched it since.
