Toslink Optical Digital Cable Recommendations Needed

I am setting up a 5.1 channel system for a family member. They have an older Yamaha 5.1 channel receiver (RX-595) with only one coax digital and one toslink optical input. I need to provide audio connections from a Comcast digital cable box (not a high def box - coax digital output only) and a Sony DVP-NS775V DVD player (coax digital and toslink outputs).

I have settled on a VH Audio PULSAR cyro'd coax cable for the digital box connection. I have no experience comparing toslink optical cables.

I am looking for recommendations on a decent 1.0M toslink cable out there from Audio Circle land.

You can get a 3' toslink cable from parts express for under three bucks.
I can't imagine you'd need anything more than that.

I am using this cable and the construction is of very high quality. It also sounds very good.

I actually have this cable but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm looking for a receiver still.

However, there's guy Tod Krieger over at Audio Asylum, who has probably the most experience with many glass toslink cables, including the one on ebay. He told me the ebay one's not that great sounding. I believe his current favorite is the Van den Hull toslink cable. You could e-mail directly through asylum emailer..

I have both of the cables that are linked above by hanguy and audioengr. I think they are identical cables and the ones on the link from hanguy are a little cheaper.
