BP26 introduction, end of BP25
« on: 7 Feb 2021, 03:20 pm »
When was the last BP 25 sold and when the BP 26 introduced?
Can you tell the age from the serial number?
As I can remember I've read there were some iterations of the BP25, is that correct?

If I am correct the BP25 was produced (and sold) until 2004, revision from 1999 with longer RCA outputs and other internal board (because of switch to MSP-1 power supply).

Correct me if I am wrong...

And what about the serial (age defined)?

Gee I would have to go rummage around in the old card file but my guess is the BP26 is about 15 years old.

Here's a review from 2006 which I believe was around the time we introduced it - https://www.whathifi.com/bryston/bp26da/review
