This DAC replaced a Sony ES player that it positively killed. Cost $1000.00 when new. Bold, vivid, powerful sound. It has dual Burr Brown and Ultra Analog goodies and the HDCD chip. I replaced it with a Bel Canto DAC 2 for its upsampling capability and a little refinement up top but the Bel Canto doesn’t have the Adcom’s balls. Separate power cord. All outputs.
