I just came across this DAC and it seems to implement a couple of the features I keep asking for

 - Master clock output, so you don't need the asynchronous resampler
 - Multi-stage dejitter curcuit with independent local clock
 - measurements look okay

Might benefit from a Bryston class A analog stage but seems to have a contemporary digital section and some geeky features like driving the DACs and opamps via rechargable batteries.

That's an excellent website.  Lots of information.

Bryston should team up with these guys.  Their methods and philosophy are very similar to Bryston's, and they are just as ultra-picky.

Further note: Does anybody know if their approach is actually correct?
