Self introduction: not to confused with self promotion. I am an aspiring audio file who always thought that shopping for the best equipment and listening to stereo components was about the best I could do in my effort to get the best sound I could afford on my limited budget. Now I would like to dive a bit (or a lot) deeper into the world of DIY audio. Already I have learned a few things... mostly how much I don’t know. I thought this forum might help me “grow” in the hobby.

Welcome Satchel :thumb:
DIY is a great option to cables, platforms, racks and even audio foot, but not to tube equip due the dangerous hi voltage DC, unless one are experienced in tube amps.

DIY is a great approach especially if you have skill or at least the confidence to go down that road.  :D
