I own a pair of JBL 230 bookshelf speakers and the Studio 235 center channel.

I was wondering what others thought of the Studio 230 line.

Apparently a distant relative of the JBL 306, an active 2-way monitor that I'm a big fan of (especially the Mk2).  The JBL 305 Mk2 is available on Amazon for $200/pair.  Considering that it includes 2 amplifiers per cabinet and it's wonderful sound quality, it's an amazing value.  Just plug into a preamp with XLR cable and you're done.
