Stratos Blowing Fuse

Hello,
Just want to ask what are the possible causes of my Stratos with cap upgrade blowing its main fuse.  It started when the two 6.3 amps slow blow fuse on the left  channel blew open.  I replaced them with the same type and amperage but when I turned on the power switch the fuse inside the IEC blew.  I replaced and tried this 3 times but still blowing the fuse in the IEC whenever I turned the switch to "on' position.  What might be the problem?  I checked all the wirings and connectors but everything looks fine and I never did any modification to them in the first place.  Klaus, can you help me with this?  I hope this is not a major problem.  Maybe  this is a "blessing in disguise" of some sort for me to upgrade the amp to the "extreme status" if it ever requires  to send the amp to Herr Klaus! Godspeed.

Disconnect all IC's and speaker cables and try again.

If it blows again, there is a short in the amp.  If it does not blow, there is a short  in either the IC's or speaker cables.

Could also be your AC is running really hot, like over 125, but I doudt that's it.

Marbles,
I did everything you mentioned.  I tried 3 different sets of power cords and ICs as well as turning on the amp without either, still the fuse blew.  I also run the amp without load.  Same result.  I measured my AC on my house and its around 120-120V.  Thanks.  Godspeed.

Gentlemen!  I just spoke to "Herr Klaus".  He said it might be an output problem and advised me to sent back the amp.  I will take this opportunity to convert this amp to "Stratos Extremes"!!  Yahooooo!  Now if only I can refrain from the waiting game............

Thank you very much everyone for responding to my thread and Godspeed.
