Just noticed the new nearfield monitor upgrades to fully active style with Flying Mole digital amps to power them, wondering what they sound like compared to the Bryston PowerPacs?  Will this give more impetous for Bryston to continue looking at Digital amping?

HI,

We have been looking at digital amplification (more correctly Class D)  for quite some time now - simply put -- for maximum performance linear amplifiers are still the best way to go.
If you really want to read an interesting article from a source that really knows about Class D and the problems they have have a look at this newsletter.
