D500MK2 gain

D500MK2 gain

Hi,

Looking for advise concerning my CI Audio D500MK2.
I purchased this used amplifier about a week ago.
I've read there are versions with 32db and 38db gain.
How can I tell which one is mine?

I would ask the person you purchased it from... it would say on their original invoice.

So, unable to tell the gain version other than from the invoice. Obviously that isn't available anymore.
Not even by opening the top cover and looking at some components?

No, you cannot see the SMD resistors that set gain by simply removing the cover.
If you send us an email with serial numbers we’ll try to look them up.
This is very time consuming as we have to go through every D•500 invoice.
