Aikido tube preamplifier

This is the John Broskie Aikido 12V circuit, but optimized for 12AU7 tubes and running on 18V AC.

It's fairly high gain (has no global negative feedback) but quiet. I built it with two inputs and a high quality Alps blue velvet pot.

This is a unique design and has an inherent soft start due to the way the power supply is designed. You can read up on it in Tubecad online.

The item is DIY and the case is presentable, but has a few scratches.

Located in Cary, NC. I'll take PayPal, no fee, or cash locally. Shipping paid by buyer. $500 obo.

Here are some more photos.  HT is about 120 volts DC. Volume pot is genuine, US-sourced Alps blue 50K log. Mains input is filtered. Case is properly grounded and signal ground is DC filtered.

I also have a PCB and 3- position switch for a Broskie Tilt-2 tone control. I'll throw this in for $15.00. It'd be a great addition to the preamp.
