I really enjoyed this movie. Melissa McCarthy was not playing comedian, though there were amusing moments. I loved the fact that there were no drop dead gorgeous actors in it too. None of that super terrible crisis only to end with a writer's miraculous ending where all's well that end's well.

Why would violence, car chases, or super-high drama be needed?

A good movie is a good movie. Sometimes these pigeon-holed actors need a chance to do something serious, and sometimes it really pays off.

I watched it last week.  Strong acting+ interesting story= good movie.  Certainly not movie of the year, but well worth your time.

I’d much rather see just a good movie .

Although I go see many of these comic book , super hero movies , I’m kind of sick of them. I go with my daughter and sometimes my wife.

I way prefer Sundance - Florida Project type movies .

I guess Star Wars and Aquaman  movies are movies parents and kids can enjoy together.
But 26 comic book movies by Marvel !! Enough!!!

I guess they make movies that will make a billion bucks .
