Is anyone using an Emotiva BasX A2 Stereo Amplifier?

I have a Marantz NR1403 AVR and I am thinking about using the preouts and using this amp to power my Encore X-LS Bookshelves.

I guess no one here has tried that, but seems like a good idea to me. I’m considering doing the same thing, but the integrated amp I have now doesn’t have pre outs like the Marantz.

Not sure of your budget but a couple more options would be the Outlaw RR2160 MkII or Schiit Ragnarock.  I hear the latest Rotel integrated amps are pretty good too.

So I haven’t used an Emotivs BASX amp but do have fully upgraded X-LS Encores being run by an Emotivs UPA-200 amp off a Marantz 2.0 hdmi receiver via pre outs. The sound. Out of this setup is fantastic and hits way above its price point. I’d imagine the BASX amps would be very similar.
