How to Qobuz.
« on: 5 May 2019, 06:08 pm »
Just implemented a new music server utilizing i7 NUC, Windows 10, JRiver MC, Fidelizer, MicroRendu and my music library on a separate drive. It seems mostly stable, with Rendu occasionally needing to reacquainted with JRiver.

Would like to try streaming at CD quality or better which I think means Qobuz or Tidal. It looks like I can't control either with JRiver, so looking at something else but don't know what.

For me, it's a big deal that it's as low complexity and little fuss as possible, stable and able to be controlled with iPad I use with jRemote now.

Show me the light, ye who know more...

Have a look at the mconnect iOS app. (I think you'll need the HD version for iPad use). It's a media player app with UPnP/DNLA support. You can log into both Tidal and Qobuz within the app and send the stream to your microRendu.
