Onkyo DV-SP502 universal DVD player?

Does anyone have any info on this DVD player or others in the $300 and under price range. I'm looking for something that has excellent video but better audio than my 963SA out of the box.

Jim,

Check out the "playback" forum at the Oade brothers web site. Doug Oade really likes that player in its price class. He also really likes the Sony NS975, for SACD and Video, but says Redbook is not good. Check out the forum here:

Thanks for the link. Interesting discussion. It looks like his favorite is the Sony. I wonder how good of transport it is?
