These are a set of one of the early iterations of these legendary speakers. I am the second owner and bought these when I lived in the UK several years ago. I have enjoyed them immensely over the last 8 years. They are serial # OBX707, which Lynn Scott confirmed were built in 2002.

They are in very good shape, rated a 7/10 on the A’gon scale. There are two scratches on one speaker side and one on the other but they do little to diminish the beautiful yew finish. No scratches on the front and the drivers are in near mint condition. The external crossovers are in good shape as well, with a couple very minor dings on one.

I have the original boxes for the speakers & crossovers and will ship or sell locally (45431). I am looking to get $1,500 for the pair. Current models retail for $12,100 and up.

I also have a full set of Townshend Isolda Speaker Cables (5m length) with matching jumpers (2 pair, 1.5m length) color coded for the external crossovers. Looking to get $600 for the set but will do a package deal for those interested. These match very well with the Avatars.

I've heard multiple iterations of these speakers and none of them sounded any less than wonderful. GLWS.
