Here is a rare pair of Celestion SL-12SI speakers in very good condition. This series was a very well designed and thought out speaker by Celestion. Their great engineering shows and these speakers still sound great.
This pair has minor imperfections (see photos) but none of them impact its great sound quality and these speakers sound natural and present a realistic soundstage. One tweeter has some wrinkling on the out foil dome, there are some nicks and scratches (some touched up.) There is one speaker peg missing but the grill still attaches to speaker. There is one small hole in the grill cloth of one of the grills (approximatelty1/3" in length) - speakers still show well and look very good.
These can be Bi-wired/Bi-amped and are genuine 2 ½ way speaker. The bottom driver handles the bass, the middle driver on mid, and mid bass. They have all the strength's of SL6S, fantastic midrange imagery, relaxed and effortless, with genuine added deep bass.
These speakers are heavy, due to the solid construction. They will be well packed for shipping
I will pack them very well in a large box with plenty of Styrofoam inserts and bubble wrap.
