Welcome to AudioCircle, mohit!

Since you already have a PC and a USB DAC, all you need is music player software, and possibly subscription to music streaming service.

Popular music player software options:
Roon
JRiver
foobar2000

Popular music streaming options:
Tidal (lossless)
Qobuz (lossless)
Spotify (lossy)

There are many more options in both categories.

Thanks for quick reply. i am already running foobar2000. problem with hugo 2 , its dont have good jitter on usb , i am facing distortion some times.
so i am thinking to  buy a dedicated server with streaming options. like roon, aurender , naim , auralic etc....

Welcome Mohit, That seems like an awesome system you have. As for a music server do you want to stream in one room or multiple rooms throughout your home? It seems you have your files on a PC, are you using any streaming services?

One way to approach this would be by adding a Klipsch Gate to one of the RCA inputs on your pre-amp. You can access any file in your network, connect to pretty much any streaming service, the SQ is exquisite and it's inexpensive ($30 on Amazon). It is part of the DTS Play-Fi ecosystem so you can distribute your music throughout your home very easily if you choose.

The one thing you might find a game changer in your current setup is the addition of room correction. Both Paradigm and Martin Logan make streamers/preamp/servers that have all the capabilities of the Gate but add digital inputs and outputs to connect to your dac and  add ARC room correction. Let me know if you have questions. Here are some links from amazon.in:

Hugo2 is very sophisticated recent design based on FPGA, so I would be very surprised to learn the designers did not consider sources of distortion from USB input. I would definitely recommend that you communicate with Chord, maybe speak with a technical sales or an engineer to figure out the true source of the distortion you are hearing.

Make sure you are using a USB port on your PC that is located on the rear panel of the PC and directly soldered to the PC motherboard, not a USB port that is located on the front of the PC and connected to motherboard with a cable inside the PC case. Try different ports to see if it makes a difference.

The problem could be the USB controller in your PC. You could try an inexpensive PCI bus USB expansion card to see if it helps.

Another option is to try a USB filter, like various models from iFi Audio, and AudioQuest.

i read a lot of review that ifi and chord setup bright and lean . so i am looking something different .
