I have an acquaintance with vision impairment trying to get a NODE 2i to stream Tidal using Alexa voice command to his stereo.  Both devices are on a Wireless network (not sure how old/new the network parts are) as there is no hard connection to the network in the audio room.  He tells me he's able to stream Tidal to a Sonos speaker without trouble.

Before I jump into troubleshooting something with which I'm not familiar, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has/had this issue.  He says he has worked with customer service at Bluesound with no success.  I can't describe the exact issue as he didn't outline it for me.

Apologies for being vague, I'm just trying to see if this is common or something not going right with his installation.

Alexa compatibility is not yet enabled in the BluOS but a software update is coming later in the Spring. It is already enabled in Sonos devices.

You wouldn't know it from looking at the NODE web page. They make it seem like it's been implemented already, with instructions how to set it up. I'll let him know it's not available yet. Is there someplace they (Bluesound) announce these things?

This is the latest I just found on the Bluesound forum.   Apparently it the update was released about three weeks ago but people are having trouble getting it to work.
