Pair of Pioneer Pt-r14a beryllium ribbon tweeters in DIY housing

Was using them as super tweeters sitting on top of my main speakers' cabinets.  They can easily be removed from the housing if you plan to use them as replacements in Pioneer speakers that had them or other speaker project.  As is, they can be connected directly to an amplifier if you are using active xover or directly to the terminals of your main speakers.  In the latter case, you would typically use a single capacitor inline with the positive terminal to make a high pass filter.

Here is a page with a calculator for this:  www.learningaboutelectronics.com/Articles/High-pass-filter-calculator.php.  For example, a 1.3 uF cap would make a high pass filter at 16kHz figuring 7.5 ohm impedance.  Larger values yield a lower filter point.  Simple, once you see how it's done.  I have a few pairs of medium high end spare caps if interested.  Let me know what value or what filter frequency you are looking for and I'll see if I can accommodate.  Price will depend on which caps fill the bill.

$195 plus $28 for shipping anywhere in the US.  I will cover paypal fee.
