Powered speakers with built in DAC with coaxial input?

Are there a pair of powered speakers with a built in DAC with a digital coaxial input? Something along the lines of the Audioengine 2+ (which only has a digital USB input). I want to connect a Blu-ray unit (to play CDs - in the bedroom for the wife) that only has a coaxial output.

I'll just mention this one because ..... it exists - Vanatoo Transparent One Encore ($600).

It may be outside the limit for C&C (although we are taking about DAC  + Amp + Speakers) and could be overkill for your application anyway.

We'll keep looking for something smaller/cheaper with a coaxial input, but other perhaps less expensive possibilities are to get the speakers you like (with optical input) and either get a $20 coax-to-optical converter or a new disc player!  ;)

Well - you can get a B-stock one for $529!

And their Transparent Zero is $359.

I didn't mention the Transparent Zero because it has no coaxial digital input.

Thanks all! I don't know how I missed Jim's and srb's posts yesterday.

There is already a Blu-ray player hooked up to a TV in the bedroom, and for ease of use and space considerations provides a good option for background listening for my wife. (It seems few, if any, Blu-ray players have analog outs these days.) I have a pair of Audioengine A2+s in the den now that I can move into the bedroom. Adding a Schiit Modi between the player and the speakers will solve the connectivity issue.

I have a Modi Multi-bit connected to my A5+s to experiment with and I'll buy another Modi (3?) if this mini system works out. Don't know if the A2+s will be big enough for the room but they won't be played loudly and I'll see how they sound before examining other alternatives.

Thanks again.
