Sad day for me to find a new home for my beloved Well Tempered Labs Simplex turntable.

Condition is excellent. Two things to point out for the discerning members:

1) With the tonearm mechanism WTL employs (golf ball in viscous liquid), the resting mechanism is very unforgiving. I learnt this the hard way, when transporting the table to a friend's reference system. The tonearm came off the rest and the stylus tip ended up making some micro scratches on the plinth (pictured). Not visible from all angles, but thought I'd point out.

2) The original mat developed an impression of my palm resting on it temporarily during one of the adjustments. It's made of a foam material, and has zero effect on function, but again, thought I'd point it out.

Apart from that, neat and clean. Original box with all accessories are included.

Included are 3 extra belts, for a total of 4 belts. IF you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area, a DIY plywood + plexiglass cover that I made will be included.

$1350 for the table. Local pickup HIGHLY preferred due to the tedious nature of disassembly, though I will carefully pack and ship for an additional $120 (box is big at 24x25x13 and 28 lbs and per carrier rules, this will measure in at 47 lbs dimensional weight).

An Auditorium 23 turntable mat is available for an additional $80.

A Dynavector '20X2L' cartridge (read below for the quotes) is also available for an additional $950.
Upon return from the listening session, the table + cartridge sounded just as before - perfect. But just for added peace of mind, I sent the cart over to Andy at the Needle Clinic, who confirmed that all was OK. In the meantime, I learnt that the DV20x2L still used an aluminum cantilever while other carts in its price range used boron, and Andy offered a boron cantilever upgrade for $350, so I asked him to just do the upgrade. The cart came back maintaining its sonic integrity but adding a much, much greater sense of detail. I've had <100 hours on it since the upgrade.

Thanks!

Last bump of 2018! Willing to sell the table for $1200. I will keep the cartridge for future tables.
