Hi from North Carolina

Hi all, my name's Dan and I'm from western North Carolina.  I'm in the very early stages of researching a desktop system and thought you might be able to help. I've narrowed down my speaker choices to about 3 of which the Wow1 is one.  I just saw the Salk computer monitor, Googled it and got zero responses. Any of you know how they might compare? Any reviews out there on the monitor?
