marchand xm6 - now i can run my secondary system's monitors actively crossed over to my powered yamaha yst-sw305's, instead of running 'em full-range! yippee!!!

that's what's nice about this unit - x-over can be made on the fly, unlike the xm9, which needs plug in cards. phil marchand sez the xm9 is a hair more transparent cuz of this; we'll see...

i imagine the x-over point will end up somewhere around 60hz. not sure i wanna go any higher, as the subs which are powered, have a built-in x-over, and their highest setting is 150hz... monitors are coincident victory's which are rated -3db @ 36hz...

the engine/transaxle are being yanked presently; when it's done i will drive my rusty '86 over to the shop & have its hotted up engine/transaxle installed into the '85.

still not decided as to whether or not to have the '85's engine/trans installed back into my '86. i may do it to have a winter beater; then sell my 100% rust-free '87 milano.
