Here's the quick down and dirty:
Being a audiophliac you should get a server, with enough processing power to decode DSD up to DSD256. Then install some version of Linux. Doing so you can experiment to you hearts content with different softwae (Roon, Daphile, JRiver.....) Until you find something you like (interface wise).
