Hi All:
I have a pair of Clements RT-7s up for sale. $650.
These vintage speakers are in exceptional condition but they are now too big for our space. The cross-overs were rebuilt to original specification by the lead Vampire Wire technician using premium parts from the Parts Connection. The speakers were recently re-covered in black fabric. They are black towers with separate bases.
They have 7-inch ribbon tweeters with transmission-line bass. They create a wide sound stage with incredible imaging and layering for rock, jazz, opera and classical music.
With the ribbon tweeters, the speakers are fast and efficient -- they sound best when paired with amplifiers that have enough speed to control the bass. In the past, I have had good success with NAD, Linn, Belles, Naim and a nice Class-D unit. The speakers can be bi-amped.
The speakers are located north of Seattle, WA. I could meet a buyer as far south as Seattle or north to the Canadian border.
If I had the space, I would keep the speakers -- my loss can be your gain -- these are priced to sell.
Pictures, serial numbers, etc. available on request.
Thanks.
Scott B.
