Up for sale, a used Hadcock 228 unipivot tonearm. Complete and refurbished.  New Cardas 33 awg Litz wires, not terminated at the base.  Polished aluminum arm tube. Pivot is straight. This tonearm came to me missing its counterweight so a new stub of brass and aluminum is seated into the original hole with its original rubber grommet. A lightened chrome Lenco L75 tonearm weight was added which adjusts easily.  A unipivot arm needs a low center of gravity and this works better than original. The tonearm stays centered and level, and tracks great.  VTA is adjustable and Baerwald alignment was achieved.
Note that no other turntable parts or cartridge are included in this sale. As you likely know, these tonearms are 'touchy' and somewhat delicate, but once set up are fantastic arms.  Except for the weight, it is original in construction, meticulously machined, assembled w/ allen keys (included) and epoxy. This early model does not have the red plug-in wire connector. The Uni-lift works fine. Comes with SME-style aluminum base plate which can be screwed onto any turntable plinth / base.  I'd keep this arm but it's not my style of equipment.  The video shows it mounted playing on a Thorens 125 turntable. Some assembly will be required and you can solder the 6" tonearm leads onto your own RCA phono jacks.  More info can be found online.  I can send more pictures.

SOLD    (No PayPal fee).
