James/All:

That is brilliant. I was not rich enough to buy Samsung Mark Levinson products when I was younger. My take is that Bryston is as good as or better than Madrigal/Levinson Samsung's high end. Really!

Bryston stands behind their product - even if it is 24 years after first sale

I found that out first hand by sending the first Bryston Product that I ever owned (a 0.5B Preamp) for service. I recently got it back, but have not had the time to test it out (will do so - soon)

Thanks James for continuing the Bryston tradition of making products that go way beyond "military spec". Seriously I am amazed that you have parts to refresh a preamp that was near almost a quarter century old

An unpaid, loyal Bryston Customer for life (just amps though, I went with Ayre for my current preamp)

You know that Samsung didn't always own Harman International, right?

And maybe that's your point? Bryston is still Bryston after all these years. :D

:D Yes indeed! That's why I mentioned Madrigal (old enough to know the chain of ownership of ML)  :D

Change in brand ownership really doesn't say anything about the quality of a product. It often points to (poor) management related factors...which seems common these days in virtually all industries.

Bryston has done very well on both fronts : Maintaining high  product quality AND managing the challenges that always come with time.

Bryston set out on a mission to build precision amplifiers in 1973 and haven’t quit since.

Their goal was to build transparent and reliable audio equipment that sounds organic as much as it does precise - we hear their realized vision every day.

Their pride for handmade products with such attention to detail is refreshing. Year-after-year, Bryston brings tried-and-true high-performance amplification to the professional studio environment.

Finally, an amplifier that meets expectations for the high demands of mastering; all housed in a durable, robust, and beautiful aluminum chassis - quietly holding power and accuracy that’s used to make technical and creative decisions heard on countless records.”
