The MicPlug from

looks like it could bring the cost of freq. response measurement down a notch or two. Combine it with the Behringer calibrated mic and software such as trueRTA and you've got the means to find out just how sucky the interaction between your speakers and listening space really is.

You will need a phantom power supply with this. Apparently the company will eventually have a firewire version which provides the phantom power.
