Possessed of the sad realizations that a healthy respect for technological progress doesn't change the fact that it has little or nothing to due with artistic progress (or broader cultural, political, economic, etc., improvement). I'm totally on board with computer/digital audio and modern speaker design, yet fervent in the belief that vintage amplifiers can deliver transcendent sound and are not only grounds for nostalgia, but also for rejecting the endless consumption of consumer-grade disposable junk.
