signal: no clock

I just got a 9B SST and an SP 1.7.  When I turn it on it does not respond to my input on the remote, there is no output and I see a message on the LCD that reads Auto Detect
                       Sgnl: No Clock
Can any kind soul tell me what this means, is there some code I need to enter.  Thanks, Kevin

It simply means it is not detecting any signal from the source.  Did you try switching digital on and off?

Hi,

Yes please make sure your DVD player is out-putting a DD and DTS digital signal as well.
