New member intro

Greetings,

James here, recovering audiophile. After 20 years in a number of roles from retail mgt to national sales manager for a number of British Audio manufacturers, I left the industry and pretty much stopped the pursuit and enjoyment of quality audio.

After retiring last year the addiction appears to have overtaken me again. I’ve not pawned my wife’s jewelry yet, but that day may come. If you see me on a street corner, please consider dropping some old interconnects or power cables in my jar - help a a guy out. :)

System, obviously in flux:
-Krell monoblocks croaked, selling my blood to save and purchase Odyssey monoblocks from Klaus.
-Outlaw 990 surround preamp. Moving to 2 channel, this will be replaced after pawning the wife’s jewelry.
-Custom speakers designed and built by a brilliant engineer friend. Easily the best part of the system.
-Outlaw subs x 2. May or may not be used in the new system.
-High quality interconnects, speaker wire and power cables
-Old Pioneer TT with Sumiko MM cart. Eyeballing replacement in the Project line but only if the Fertility Clinic will pay for my deposits.
-Magnavox blueray and CD player. Meh. It works.
-Nakamichi CD changer.
-Nakamichi 3 head cassette

Hello and welcome to AC, James.  I see you've had the disease for some time now.  Enjoy!
