The integrated Amp has pre-outs if you opt to take Amplification in a different direction while maintaining the simplified operation and family room friendly aesthetics of the Arcam integrated  This amp has been powering a set of very hungry Acoustic Energy AE1 Classic ( and on occasion, Spendor LS3/5a) with excellent results.
