I bought some Real Traps stuff for myself for Christmas.  I bought two high frequency microtraps with stands.  I put the microtraps behind me for a song.  I then put them in front of my RPTV, and the difference was amazing.  I hope to document the difference using the ETF program one of these days.  I highly recommend something in front of a RPTV for stereo listening!

Thanks for the heads up Bob.

With more universal players that require a TV for setup as just one example of the integration of audio and HT it gets harder to avoid having a screen to mess up the sound.

Thanks too for the report/endorsement of RealTraps.  They've always seemed to make sense to me.

I just did some measurements with my Tact with and without the room treatments and I am happy to report that the measurements verify what my ears were hearing.  

Peaks were absolutely reduced.
