Vintage Fisher tube amp restoration needed

Picked up a nice Fisher X202b integrated amp a few years ago. Had it updated by Craig at NOS tube. He did a good job and it seemed to play fine. I found an issue with the tone controls causing an inbalance between the channels. You can get it to play fine but you have to tweek the tone controls to get it to do so. Since they are wired into the system, no one will attempt to fix it. Sam's audio Lab in Canada will completely restore it to the tune of about $2500.

Can anyone suggest a good Fisher specialist.

You could try this gentleman-
http://www.fisherdoc.com/

I have no direct experience but he did buy the actual "The Fisher Radio Corporation" company and properties.  If nothing else he may be able to point you in the right direction, furnish schematics, etc.

Also whoever you find to do a rebuild I'd ask around for recs.  And not just on AC, AudioKarma, Audio Asylum, and DIYaudio forums as well.  You need to do your homework for this.

If you have not talked to Craig at Nos Valves, I would.  I am sure he can fix it.

Agree, that's far beyond what the amp is worth.
Frank Mufich in McKinney, TX is good with tubes and reasonably priced.  I'll PM his phone #

Not sure where you are located, but I purchased my Luxman tube amps from a place in NY.. Hudson Valley Hifi. Mike is really good there with repairs, and is quite reasonable and, what I appreciate, realistic as to what makes sense with vintage equipment (he won't recommend spending money where it doesnt make sense to)
