Help to contact a Trading Post seller
« on: 26 Nov 2017, 12:06 am »
Hi.

Hope I don't get into trouble for posting here, but not sure where else to go.

I have responded to a members oldish thread (mid October) to sell a Pono Player. I have a feeling he has given up on it and doesn't look for responses anymore. He has been online since I posted on his "for sale" thread, but didn't respond to my post.

I tried to PM him but received a popup message that told me his inbox was full, so that bombed out.

Any suggestions on how else to find out if his product is still available for sale?

Hi Graham, welcome to AC.  You need at least three posts to use PM and responding to ads.  This to help keep out the bots.  Couple more posts and you'll be good to go.

So tell us a bit more about you and your system.  Genres of music you appreciate.

Ah rats. I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open for another one or hope the dude notices he has a potential buyer.

Thanks anyway

Good idea FullRangeMan. I will try a WTB in source components. I must admit I don't understand why the ad. I responded to was in the Amplification sector.

Thanks for that Phil.

I actually bought a Pono on eBay but was then was refunded as the seller couldn't find the power adapter. As you have seen I have been trying to buy the one advertised on AC but cannot contact the seller.

The other eBay sellers shown on hifishark want more than I want to pay at this stage. I am a bit leery of responding to the other sellers shown as I don't know their marketplace reliability.
