Hello "Darth Audio". First time post-er, long time reader. Was wondering what other amps you have owned and what speaks you are currently using with the JD3000?

The last amp I had was the Spectron Musician III. I've also had: I've had various tube and SS amps.. Cary, AR,PS Audio, Bryston and many more. My speakers are Von Schweikert VR-4jr's..

Wow, at "only" $9K a pair, they're affordable for every middle class American with two kids to put through college!

The JD3000's are simliar to the Music Envoys reviewed, but at slightly more sane price -- $5k pr.
