Rare Fidelity Research Accurate Attenuation System AS-1.
I'm looking for $1800 but will consider offers and trades for a TVC or AVC, which I've always wanted to try. Particularly interested in Bent Audio AVC-1 or Townshend Allegri.

Incredibly rare and difficult to find FIDELITY RESEARCH AS-1 passive line stage for those who appreciate the purest signal paths in their system. It allows you to feed a pure source signal to the power amps resulting in a refreshingly clean sound unmatched by active preamplifier circuitry. This simplicity does not sound sterile but rather rich and lush.
The gold plated selector switch has a low contact resistance of <5mΩ and high purity LC-OFC is employed in the internal wiring. Robust RCA jacks ensure a secure connection and the substantial enclosure offers excellent vibration handling characteristics.
The resulting sound is exceptionally clean and free of sonic artifacts often imposed by power supplies and complex circuit assemblies.

Both attenuators function without any noise whatsoever. The knobs feel great to operate.
Gold plated RCA connectors on the rear are in nice condition.
Some signs of wear, notably on the front top edge, but overall in fair cosmetic condition. Please refer to the photos for a good idea of condition. This preamp is really beautifully built overall. Great Japanese craftsmanship!
