Wow, the tweeter produces output that low?  That's amazing!  To me, the tweeter is one of the best parts of the design.  When I heard Zybar's system (before I received my RM40s), I came away thinking two things:  those speakers are huge; and the tweeter is sublime.

IMHO, one of the reason the tweeter is sublime is that there is a sublime capacitor behind it (TRT Dynamicap).

Only one problem with your speakers....I don't want to take them out to listen to the competition.  The updated RM40 is really better than I thought it could be.  I don't have lamb's wool? Probably just as well, lambs need to stay warm too, especially when the weather is cold.  Have more updates on the newest RM40 planned - it continues to amaze.

Are there other Components of Exceptional Merit?  The Sonic Euphoria PLC is a sure thing, as is the Dodson 263 and Edge G6.  Other speakers?  Only the Gallo Reference III at a much lower price point.  We'll probably have a few more things on the list before the Merit issue comes out in March.   Hope to see you in Vegas!

Thanks for the kind words, Marty.  We'll be in the St Tropez rm 1607.  Dolly the Lamb will be present.

Hi Marty,

Glad to see you drop in every once in a while.  We'll have to get B, to set you up with a pair of RM30s w/215 Sub and see what you think of it in your room with your selection of "drive toys".

Similar in tone and texture to the RM40, but with a narrower baffle image development, and two pair 6.5" megawoofers for some "impactful" upper bass.

And you can be sure B, is not "resting on his laurels".   :nono:

Before next CES (my prediction) he will stun the speaker world  with something entirely unexpected.

As always he is 5-10 years ahead of the others.

Hmmmm....

Look forward to meeting you in LV.
