This is a solid state buffer and +6dB gain stage that can be used for impedance matching as well as to add gain to a passive system. I used it as a gain stage with my passive preamp and phono preamp with great success. This is a quiet, well made component. A purchase of a linestage has put this on the shelf, however. The unit is in very good physical condition and functions perfectly. There is one scratch on the top cover, but that is the only flaw I can find. It is pretty heavy, but I get a good discount through UPS so shipping should be pretty reasonable.  Contact me for exact shipping charges.
