Hi,
I am selling my Salk Audio SS8's and single SS7C, center channel speakers.
SS8's: SoundScape 8's are made with Pau Ferro (Santos) Rosewood. Additionally, the midrange and tweeter circuits were upgraded to Sonicaps at the time of the initial order. Additionally, the speakers are bi-wired. I would rate them a 7-8, on the Audiogon scale. Here is a link to the initial release of the speakers.
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=106370.msg1088933#msg1088933 I am asking $6,500 for the SS8's.
SS7C: SoundScape 7 is standard black. However, like the ss8's, the midrange and tweeter circuits were upgraded to Sonicaps at the time of the initial order. Additionally, the speaker is also bi-wired. I would rate it an 8, on the Audiogon scale. The unit is in black, as it sits in a media cabinet that uses the same veneer as the speakers. I am asking $2,000 for the SS7.
I am selling as I recently moved and the speakers simply don't fit in the new apt. I am downsizing, likely to a set of Salk Silks. Ideally, I would like to sell them in the northeast. I am willing to drive up to three hours from NYC to meet anyone who is interested in purchasing them. I don't have shipping boxes or crates for the speakers.
Thank you
