Bryston BP-26 optional module question ...
« on: 20 Apr 2017, 04:48 am »
I see the BP-26 can have a dac or phono stage.

Can both be installed or just one module?
Does anyone here have either module installed and what are your opinions of it?
Can either module be installed by the user or does it have to be ordered exactly the way you want it from the beginning?

Thank you for the help!

Joe

Hi Joe,

You can have Phono or DAC but not enough room for both.

You can add the phono stage or DAC later but I would recommend our factory or our distributor to do the work.

I have a B60 with the dac card built in. It's a fine dac, but I think for the added cost it is outclassed these days by standalone units.
