My wife, two boys, and I saw "Logan" this afternoon and we all walked away very impressed.

This is not your typical super hero or comic book movie - it is a well done movie...period.

Good story, acting, and action.  It holds together from start to end and we were all engaged throughout the whole movie.  The interaction between Wolverine and Professor X is especially welll done on multiple levels.

If you aren't an X-men fan (like my wife), you will still enjoy this movie.  You don't need to know the comic books or the previous 9 X-Men movies that Wolverine was in to enjoy "Logan".

That said, there are lots of references (small and large) for the X-Men fan to catch and enjoy.

If this truly was Jackman's and Stewart's last portrayal of Wolverine and Profesor X, it was a hell of a way to go out.

Just saw it. Definitely rated R, not for your kids, but a very realistic portrayal of Marvel's mutant world. Excellent performance and acting. But I warn you, it's a whole lot darker than any Marvel movie that I recall. A great conclusion to the Wolverine series.
